Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor, popular for his roles in well-known television series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. While in college, he started to take an interest in acting. In the University of Colorado at Boulder it was where he studied acting. His television characters have gained him a lot of popularity. He is able to play characters from both the bad and good sides in the law enforcement system. He can draw the attention of viewers easily. On his debut TV show, he played the part of a murderer. Later, he was able to play the part of an NYPD Detective. For his work on the smaller screen, he's been up for nomination numerous times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. One of his most distinctive face features is thought to be his piercing blue eyes that have helped him portray characters who are rough and charismatic.
