Kirsten Simone Vangsness, an American actress and playwright who came into the limelight after appearing as 'Penelope Garcia' in the police procedural crime drama television series 'Criminal Minds'. Kirsten vangsness also appeared in both of the spin-offs "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" and "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior". Her main focus is on television actor, but she has also played a handful of minor film roles since her showbiz debut in 1998. There have been some notable performances in films such as "In My Sleep, The Chicago Eight", as well as 'Kill Me, Deadly.'
