Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress from Iceland . Anita Briesm, an Icelandic actress, is famous for her portrayal of Jane Seymour (the young woman who would later become the wife to Henry VIII) in the TV show The Tudors. Also for the role of Hannah in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth. Her acting career started with the National Theater Iceland when she was just nine years old. She was a child actor in Iceland and was a part of the stage and on television. Briem left Iceland for London aged 16 and was a part of a theater production called Lenin's Love. Briem was 19, and was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. There she studied over three years. Briem earned her degree in Drama and won the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. He was a part of Catalog of Misunderstanding at the National Theater Studio directed by Mike Figgis, as well as the successful, 5-month West End run of Losing Louis.
